Accessibility Statement
Second Stride is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, in compliance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
Measures taken
- Semantic HTML structure (headings, landmarks, lists)
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the site
- Visible focus indicators for interactive elements
- Descriptive alt text for all images
- ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and form controls
- Sufficient colour contrast (WCAG AA minimum 4.5:1)
- Responsive design that works at 200% zoom
- Page language declared in HTML
- Skip-to-content link for keyboard users
Known limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some third-party content (e.g. user-uploaded images without descriptions, embedded payment forms) may not be fully accessible. We are working to address these gaps.
